The Wedding Experience
You soak it all in. I've got every detail.
Your wedding day goes by SO fast. One minute you're zipping up the dress, and the next you're on the dance floor wondering where the day went. That's why I'm with you from your very first inquiry to the day your heirloom album lands on your shelf, so you can relax, be present, and actually enjoy your wedding.
Here's exactly what it looks like to work together.
Why couples choose me
After 81 weddings, 8 years behind the camera, and Best of The Knot three years in a row, here's what my couples say made the difference:
- Photos that feel real, joyful, and completely like you
- Someone who helps you feel comfortable (yes, even your camera-shy groom)
- A calm guide for your photo timeline, your family photos, and every little detail
- A photographer who cares about your marriage, not only your wedding day
Wedding days are emotional, fast, and full of surprises. Having someone who guides the day and still catches every real moment changes everything.
the process
How it works
Step One
Say hi!
Tell me about your day through my inquiry form. Within 48 hours (outside of weekends and holidays), I'll reach out with a link to schedule our call so we can meet!
Step Two
Let's chat
We'll hop on a Google Meet call (fair warning: I LOVE to chat). This is where I get to know you two, and you get to know me! We'll talk about your vision, your venue, and the photos you love, and make sure we're the perfect fit. After our call, you'll get my full wedding guide with the Wedding Collection and every detail.
Step Three
Make it official
Your date is officially yours once your contract is signed and your retainer is paid. Then you can cross photography off your list and breathe!
Step Four
Your engagement session
It's included in the Wedding Collection! The best way to get comfortable in front of my camera, celebrate this season, and get images for your save-the-dates and website.
Step Five
Planning your photos
We'll build the photography side of your timeline together (getting ready, first look, family photos, and golden hour) and make your family photo list so nobody has to wrangle Uncle Dave. Need a coordinator for the rest of your day? I have sooo many wonderful recommendations!
Step Six
Your wedding day
Your only job? Be present. Celebrate. Soak it all in. Two photographers catch every angle, plus a calm voice when anything doesn't go exactly to plan.
Step Seven
Sneak peeks, gallery + blog
Within 7 days, you'll get sneak peeks so you can relive the excitement (and show everyone!). Your full, edited gallery arrives within 6 weeks. Plus, I write a blog post for EVERY wedding, so you'll have your love story all in one place to share with family and friends.
Step Eight
Your heirloom album
Once you've favorited your images, we'll design your heirloom album together, in your hands within 12 weeks. The part of your wedding you'll pull off the shelf for years.

Questions couples ask
How far in advance should we book?
Most of my couples book 12–18 months out, especially for summer and fall dates in West Michigan. Saturdays go fast, so if you have a date in mind, let's chat!
Do you help with timelines?
Absolutely! Building your timeline together is one of my favorite parts. I'll work with your planner and venue so your whole day flows.
Do we get two photographers?
Yes! Every wedding includes a second photographer, so no moment goes uncaptured.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! From Grand Rapids to Colorado Springs, I'll photograph your wedding wherever you're saying "I do." Travel is added for weddings outside a 2-hour radius.
How many images will we receive?
Every wedding is different, but most couples receive 500–800+ fully edited images.
Hey you, let's chat!
Ready when you are.
Tell me about your day, and I'll take it from there.
