Hi, I’m Lexie – the heart and eye behind the camera at Lexie Marie Photography! I’m based in Hudsonville, MI, but I’m always ready to travel wherever your story leads. I specialize in weddings, family, newborn, and boudoir photography, capturing genuine moments that you’ll treasure forever.

I grew up in the small town of Yorkville, Illinois, where my love for photography began with scrapbooking and snapping photos at every opportunity (though I’ll let you in on a secret – I’ve never actually finished a scrapbook!). After high school, I wasn’t sure what path to take, so I started with general education courses before diving into photography. When I moved to Michigan in 2018, I shifted gears to pursue a degree in Human Resources Management, graduating in May 2022.

In July 2021, I married my amazing husband, and we now have two beautiful, lively children. Our daughter’s love for soccer and our son’s endless energy keep us on our toes! We’re deeply involved in our church and cherish our Sundays spent worshiping together.

My passion for photography reignited when we had our son. After experiencing the joy of maternity and newborn photos for our own family, I knew I wanted to create that same magic for others. With the encouragement of mentors, fellow photographers, and countless free sessions, Lexie Marie Photography was born. In April 2023, I officially became an LLC – a milestone I’m incredibly proud of!
