Hey you, I'm Lexie!

Wife, mom of three, Diet Dr Pepper enthusiast, and professional chatterbox (fair warning: our five-minute call might turn into 45). My couples say I was "so much more than our photographer," and honestly, that's my favorite compliment. I'm the one keeping your day fun and stress-free, remembering the little details, and getting your camera-shy groom to forget he's in front of a camera, so you can laugh, cry, dance, and soak in every second.

Every wedding includes a second photographer, so no moment goes uncaptured. Most weddings, I'm behind the camera myself. On occasion, one of my trusted associate photographers may lead your day, always briefed on your vision and shooting in the same natural, connection-first style.

HOW I GOT HERE

HR girlie turned office manager turned full-time photographer + studio owner.

I have a degree in Human Resources Management, and for years I worked a regular office job while building photography on the side. Then one day I finally said, "I'm doing this." (Best leap I ever took.) Our family moved to Michigan in 2018, and West Michigan has been home ever since. Lexie Marie Photography became an official LLC in April 2023.

Fast forward, and I somehow went from photographer to studio owner. I bought a photography studio in Grandville, immediately renovated the whole thing (if I get an idea, there's a good chance I'm doing it TODAY), and turned it into ANS Collective.

I can't wait to meet you.

I'm calm on a wedding day, and I'm a planner at heart. I help build your timeline, coordinate with your vendors, keep family photos organized, and help you breathe when it all feels like a lot. By the end of the day, most of my couples say I feel like an old friend.

And my favorite part? Getting the "WE'RE PREGNANT!" text a year or two later.

I believe...

A few things I'll always stand by.

  • I believe the best photos happen when you forget I'm holding a camera.

  • I believe the ordinary moments deserve to be documented as much as the big ones, because someday they won't feel ordinary anymore.

  • I believe your kids deserve photos with YOU in them, not only thousands of photos of them in your camera roll.

  • I believe God has a funny way of taking the plans we make for ourselves and turning them into something even better.

  • I believe an ice-cold Diet Dr Pepper can fix at least 75% of life's minor inconveniences.

Lexie has been an absolute dream to work with, as a 2024 bride I can truly say we could not have found a better photographer. Lexie is responsive, compassionate, creative, and so so talented. I can honestly say I have found my life long photographer. Lexie answered my questions quickly and kindly. She provided endless support throughout the whole process. She delivers incredible photos that truly capture the feel of the moment. As a bride (or anyone looking for a photographer) I could not recommend her more. She is an absolute gem.
