An Apple Orchard & Vineyard Fall Wedding at 12 Corners Vineyard

Some couples are fun. Ally and Collin are FUN. From the first hello of the morning to the last song under the tent, their fall wedding at 12 Corners Vineyard in Benton Harbor, Michigan was full of laughter, happy tears, and two people who truly could not wait to be married.

Their story began during one of the hardest seasons either of their families has walked through. Out of it grew a friendship, then so much more, and on September 19, 2026, a marriage. Knowing that made every hug and every glance feel even more meaningful.

Getting Ready at The Inn at Harbor Shores

The day started at The Inn at Harbor Shores, where Ally's details told their story before anyone said a word. Her invitation suite rested on her beaded veil alongside "Her" and "His" vow books in white and soft sage with gold script, white block-heel sandals, sage koozies printed with "Allison & Collin," and the cutest pearl-covered heart sunglasses spelling out MRS TIDD. A tiny framed photo charm was tucked in too, a sweet way to keep her brother close all day.

Meanwhile, Collin was all smiles as his guys helped button his vest, with his cream tie and a grin that did not leave his face all day.

Then came one of my favorite moments before the ceremony: Ally descending the inn's sweeping spiral staircase, wrought-iron scrolls curling along the railing and her train spilling down the steps behind her. Her gown was pure sparkle, with a sheer boned bodice, a beaded sweetheart neckline, delicate beaded straps, and pearls and sequins scattered through floral lace all the way to the hem. Add her soft half-up waves and a gold leaf hairpiece, and she was breathtaking.

An Apple Orchard Ceremony at 12 Corners Vineyard

Ally and Collin said "I do" in the apple orchard at 12 Corners Vineyard, beneath a wooden arbor dripping with white wisteria and greenery, framed by urns of hydrangeas and trees heavy with red apples. For the ceremony, Ally added an overskirt that turned her train into a long, dramatic sweep down the aisle.

And then there was Collin. The moment Ally and her dad came into view, he couldn't hold it together. Hand to his face, tears in his eyes, his whole line of groomsmen standing behind him. It was the sweetest thing ever. When her dad gave her away, he pulled Collin into a big bear hug, and from there the vows were full of laughter.

Burgundy, Blooms & One BIG Wedding Party

The bridesmaids wore mix-and-match deep red gowns and carried bouquets of white roses, greenery, cream blooms, and tiny pops of pink. Ally's bouquet matched theirs, with dark red ranunculus tucked in so she stood out beautifully in the middle. The guys wore dark suits with burgundy ties and white rose boutonnieres, while Collin's cream tie set him apart. Against the orchard, those colors were SO rich and so perfectly fall.

This crew was huge, and they were a BLAST. We got the classic lineup, then the celebration: bouquets in the air, arms up, and one groomsman on his knees flexing front and center while Ally and Collin kissed behind him. That photo is this group in a nutshell.

Portraits in the Vines

Next we slipped into the grapevines for portraits between rows of ripening grapes, with soft, overcast skies making everything glow. Collin dipped Ally with her train fanned across the grass, and I shot through the grape leaves as they stole a kiss.

A Tented Reception at 12 Corners Vineyard

The reception was under a white tent right in the vines, strung with café lights and greenery garland. Two of Ally's girls gave a heartfelt toast, the bridal party took over the dance floor early, and dessert was a white buttercream cake with a gold "Mr & Mrs Tidd" topper, red velvet cupcakes, and chocolate chip cookies.

Their favors fit the winery perfectly: wine corks engraved with "Allison & Collin, 09.19.2026" and a little olive branch. Simple, thoughtful, and something every guest got to take home.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me to capture your wedding day. It was full of love, laughter, and SO much fun.

Ally, you were stunning. From the staircase to the orchard to the vines, every sparkle on that gown caught the light, and every detail felt so you.

Collin, I will never forget your face when you saw Ally coming down the aisle. Those tears said everything about how much you love her, and getting to capture that is exactly why I do what I do.

Your story began in a hard season, and seeing the joy you've built together was really special. It was so clear you couldn't wait to be married, and it was an honor to be there when you finally were.
