Lindsay & Jacob’s Elegant Grand Rapids Michigan Wedding at New Vintage Place

There are some wedding days that feel timeless from the very beginning, and Lindsay & Jacob’s Grand Rapids Michigan Wedding was exactly that. From the thoughtful details to the way their family and friends celebrated them all day long, every part of this wedding felt elegant, joyful, and full of love. It was truly such an honor to capture their day at The New Vintage Place.

If you are dreaming of a stylish and romantic Grand Rapids Michigan Wedding, this venue is such a gem. The New Vintage Place blends historic charm with modern elegance in the best way. The exposed brick, soaring ceilings, large windows, and warm character throughout the space create such a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos. It has that perfect mix of industrial charm and timeless romance that photographs beautifully in every season.

From the moment I arrived, the energy of the day was calm, happy, and full of excitement. Lindsay was getting ready surrounded by her favorite people, and every detail reflected her elevated, classic style. Her gown from La Soiree Bridalwas absolutely stunning, a strapless luxury wedding dress that fit her perfectly and felt straight out of a magazine. The clean, timeless silhouette paired with her long veil created such an elegant bridal look. But what truly made the dress unforgettable was the gorgeous bow on the back. It was the perfect statement piece, classic, feminine, and so sophisticated.

The bridesmaids looked incredible in mismatched gold dresses from Birdy Grey and Azazie, each one a different style that complemented the others beautifully. I always love when brides choose coordinated but unique dresses because it gives everyone a chance to feel confident while still creating a cohesive bridal party look. Against the warm tones of the venue, the gold dresses were absolutely perfect. They paired everything with classic white florals and roses by Poppy & Posy, which added such a romantic softness to the overall design.

Jacob and his groomsmen looked sharp in grey suits from Generation Tux. The grey tones were timeless and refined, tying in beautifully with the neutral elegance of the day. Jacob’s ring from Manly Bands and Lindsay’s beautiful pieces from Keyzar Jewelry were the perfect finishing touches.

One of my favorite things about this Grand Rapids Michigan Wedding was how effortlessly every detail worked together. Nothing felt overdone or forced. It was luxurious without trying too hard, stylish while still feeling warm and personal, and full of meaningful moments all day long.

Their ceremony was heartfelt and emotional in the best way. Surrounded by the people who love them most, Lindsay & Jacob promised forever to each other in a space filled with so much joy. There were tears, laughter, and the kind of smiles that never left anyone’s face.

After the ceremony, we explored the venue for portraits, and let me just say, The New Vintage Place gives so many beautiful opportunities for photos. Between the architectural character, natural light, and timeless interior spaces, every corner feels photo-worthy. Lindsay’s veil flowed so beautifully during portraits, and the back bow on her dress truly had its main character moment.

As the evening continued, guests enjoyed an incredible meal from Distinctive Catering before the celebration officially kicked off. One of the most fun surprises of the night was Lindsay changing into a second dress after the formal dances. Her reception look was stunning, modern, stylish, and perfect for celebrating the rest of the night in comfort and style.

The dance floor was packed thanks to Life Size Productions, who kept the energy high all evening long. And of course, guests were treated to sweet bites from Nothing Bundt Cakes, which was the perfect ending to such a beautiful celebration.

To the newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Gleason,

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me to be part of such a special day in your lives. Capturing your wedding was so much more than documenting beautiful moments, it was getting to witness the love, joy, and genuine connection that surrounds the two of you.

From the moment I arrived, I felt so welcomed by not only you both, but your family and friends as well. The kindness, excitement, and love that filled every part of your day was something truly special. It was clear how deeply loved you both are, and what an incredible life you are building together.

Lindsay, you were absolutely stunning, and Jacob, the way you looked at her said everything without needing words. Watching the two of you step into marriage surrounded by your favorite people was such an honor to witness.

Thank you for allowing me into such an important chapter of your story. These are the kinds of days that remind me exactly why I love what I do.

Wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and so many beautiful memories ahead.

xo, Lexie
